Can you believe that the Whole30 is almost up!? Well, if you are participating in it, yes, I bet you can. If you are not...you're probably still eating the same food you were thirty days ago. (Let's make a healthy change people)

As the weather is getting colder, it means it is time for the CROCCCCCKKKK POT! Yup, it is my favorite thing in the kitchen. Set it. Forrrrget it! (I said that in my best Jill Meriam - the dealer for the people voice. I hate those radio commercials.)

Check out this recipe, courtesy of Paleo Nom Nom, for Slow Cooker Kalua Pig! It looks BANGIN'! (And could be a fantastic Sunday football meal!)

Here’s what I gathered to feed 8 people:

    5 pound Boston Butt roast (bone-in or out, doesn’t matter)
    3 slices of bacon (MAKE SURE IT IS WHOLE 30 APPROVED BACON!!!!!)
    1 1/2 Tablespoons of Alaea Red Hawaiian Coarse Sea Salt  OR ~1 Tablespoon of Alaea Red Hawaiian Fine Sea Salt
    5 peeled garlic cloves (optional)
